The museum needed 250 guest chairs for public events and openings and chose The Bellini Chair for its ease of use, comfort and beauty. The MoMA Gift Catalogue looked to offer an outstanding piece of modern furniture to its customers and selected The Bellini Chair. MoMA’s permanent collections contains some of the world’s finest modern paintings, sculptures, drawings, and photographs. Among its masterpieces of modern design, MoMA’s Architecture and Design Collection includes several Heller products: Massimo Vignelli’s stacking dinnerware and his cups and saucers; Philippe Starck’s Excalibur toilet brush; and Vico Magistretti’s Selene chair.
